Suicide Screening and Assessment in Private Practice - April 11, 2026
Registration Deadline: April 1, 2026
This 3.5-hour workshop equips clinicians with practical steps to improve awareness of suicide and the prevalence among individuals; review best practices to screen; assess and link individuals to services; and to review the cultural and ethical considerations related to assessing and managing suicide for practitioners in private practice. The program includes case examples; a review of best and evidenced based practices, and time for Q&A.

The Empowerment Agency host “Self-Care Saturday” as a platform to promote health and wellness including social and emotional wellbeing. “Self-Care Saturday” events will be hosted on various days and locations throughout the United States. All events will be free of charge unless the venue or host location has a fee.

The F Word: Forgiveness
An 8-week group therapy program walking women through the “Art of Forgiveness”. Group sessions are offered in person and online to help individuals embrace forgiveness and move FORWARD towards HEALING. Participants will engage with a licensed clinical social worker during group session to process and learn the skills needed to help overcome past trauma, betrayal, and/other incidents that have negatively impacted their current perception; thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs, and interpersonal relationships.
