Walk and Talk Therapy - Flyer A.png

"Walk It Out"

The Empowerment Agency offers a walk and talk therapy program titled "Walk It Out". Walk It Out provides clients with a therapeutic outdoors experience with optimal results. Research shows that talk therapy is beneficial to addressing social, emotional and mental health conditions. For centuries, we have been advised to walk for at least 30 minutes per day to release endorphins, reduce stress and improve overall mood. Walk and Talk therapy provides the best of both worlds.

Due to the structure of the program and special considerations, during the initial consult, issues related to current health status, confidentiality and other important topics will be discussed. Currently this service is offered in the metro Atlanta area only. Each session is 50 minutes.

* Additional time may be given with price adjustments on a case by case basis. This will allot extended time for sessions that require more than 50 minutes to complete.

Hours

Hours are by appointment only. Our office provides early morning, day and evening appointments to accommodate our clients’ schedules.  We also have  appoints available on Saturday & Sundays. Upon scheduling an intake session with a therapist, inquire about their general availability to determine if the schedule of availability meets your needs. We currently use online scheduling for appointments.

For groups, check our website for schedule and openings for each specific group.

Payment Details

Each session fee is $150 for individual counseling sessions.

New Client Intake appointments are $175.

We do offer a sliding fee scale for those who are in need. Please ask about this option when scheduling your intake appointment.

Clients can also opt to have a 3rd party pay for their counseling services.  This includes their employer, a private agency, church, family member, etc.  Once we have a release of information, the office can work with the 3rd party to ensure that payment is timely. Please have that 3rd party contact our office to set up billing and payment once a release of information has been completed.  This is a very common option!
