For Corporations

The Empowerment Agency partners with wellness teams, employee resource groups, human resource departments, Office of Inclusion and/or DEI teams to provide program development, educational programming, facilitated discussions, sensitivity training and other programming to promote wellness, inclusivity, awareness, and compassion within the workplace. Programming is provided onsite or virtually to meet the complex needs of organizations. We also offer a crisis response for critical incidents or current events impacting employee’s morale and ability to perform. Sites who receive support report high employee satisfaction with organizational response, decrease in stress response among employees who engage, and higher reports of employees feeling supported by employer. In addition, employees report feeling a decrease in stress, more prepared to manage their challenges, an increase of awareness of resources available within the company or in the community, more equipped with tools related to navigating challenging situations and more prepared to engage in selfcare.

Consultants work with Human Resource/Chief People Departments; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Wellness Teams, and other departments to develop programs, provide crisis management; develop policies and procedures; and other programs to address the unique needs of the company and employees. Subject matter experts are assigned to individual projects from beginning to end to assure considerations and strategies are implemented from stakeholder engagement to data outcome reporting.

Example of clinical consultation for corporations or government entities:

 1) There is an employee related issue where behavioral health may be a factor in the incident such as domestic violence, suicide, suspicion of or known mental health concerns, coping with stress management, traumatic exposure (direct or secondary/vicarious), burnout, etc.

Services may be provided in efforts focused on prevention and post-vention.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Consulting

DEI programming creates opportunities to educate, celebrate and create opportunities for employees to engage one another and promote collaborative spaces. Due to workplace incidents or mainstream events centered around violence, racism, discrimination or other traumatizing events, companies benefit from subject matter experts to create recommendation and strategies to promote workplace resilience. Our services range from policy development, facilitated discussions, focus groups, and educational programming to address the unique needs of each company. DEI consultants are assigned based on the nature of the incident or program to assure that appropriate solutions are provided based on evidenced based research and best practices.

Corporate Wellness Programs

Consultants work with wellness teams to provide educational workshops or facilitated discussions that promote resilience and wellbeing. Each session is customized based on a needs assessment of the company and its employees. Sessions are based on the company’s time allotted and number of sessions requested. Most companies provide virtual sessions for employee engagement twice a month for one hour each session. Attendees reports after attending sessions, lowered anxiety; feelings associated with feeling relief and more relaxed; and increase awareness of services and resources available to enhance wellbeing.
